No standardized testing until 9th
More focus on national history and culture
Mandatory survival training
And marksmanship and defense training while we're at it
@starbare What about you
How would you change the education system?
to not be biased
Is it possible to be unbiased?
I’ve only been in American schools for 2 years
And is that objectively a good thing?
To be unbiased
Yes
How so?
I can’t really judge the American education system
Well
Should not the population be given the information that helps them in life most?
Or is for the national good?
If you receive unbiased schooling you would learn both sides and make your own choice
I think survival training is over the top
There is no such thing as unbiased schooling.
But there can be
History as we know it cannot be confirmed to be true
As history is often written by the victor
What I mean is
We teach to the most unbiased opinion
An example would be?
Like for example let’s do
uhh
Current events class in high school
Never heard of a Current Events class in HS, but go on.
It’s a class in Ireland and it’s in my catholic school
I'm in HS and that's not a thing
Oh... Ireland
I haven’t heard of it in the 2 years I’ve been in America tho
Because in the U.S. it's not a thing
