most people that call for it are in ivory towers

The most diverse places are the most pro migration

I think that has more to do with the ethnic make up of the place.
If a place is 60% African then it only makes sense that they would vote 60% pro immigration.

another issue is that Islam is a religion incompatibly with Europe.
This was already a problem in the 1970's when Islamic Turks and Morrocans came here

again I have no qualms with Islam, it just doesn't fit Western European society.

I would have the same issues if it was say an influx of Indian Hindus or Chinese Confucians

Islam isn’t incompatible with Europe most Muslims I know are similar culturally to were they live all that is different is that they go to mosques

People aren’t going into arms about diversity if they live in diverse areas

They only do it when they don’t and foreigners are demonized
