been ready since the day i was born
Good
I'm just a Christian that realizes I can't save myself but I can take people to hell.
Why cant you save yourself
Because the act of judgement in itself violates the law of agapé
This life may not be too good, but there is the next you know
@ComradeChaos cringe
Which is Christ's law
wym
what act of judgement
why would you bring people to hell
cringe
Yeah that is cringe and im not even a christian
this
who
@Ghost of Descartes people like Epstein who need to be taken care of
its called uh justice
i dont see how this means you should bring people to hell
cringe people
That violates the law of charity, condemning you to hell
Hell is a state of mind above all else
it would be better to save the cringe niggas
@Tekka we all have choices to make and those choices define us beyond what our intentions were. We are more than the sum of our intentions
Yeah
I know
same
But still
As i said
There is the next life
Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
Mark 9:42
spinoza is good but has some issues imo
like other moderns, he still too radically departs from aristotelianism
I was reading a few articles on coronavirus, and I read that in Greece, the cases reached 40+ due to a group of people visiting the Holy Mount of Athos. The group had recently traveled to Israel and Egypt, and got infected from there. Then, through a Divine Liturgy ritual, they infected whoever tasted the wine, due to the same spoon being used for everyone. Now there's a debate going on in Greece, I read, with the Priests saying that the spoon is holy, and that it's impossible for people to get infected through Divine Liturgy. Do you guys think the spoon is actually holy?
@Koninos
"All hail the holy spoon"
To me, it's a matter of not tempting God
Ah yes, but those who are motivated by the fear of the material threats they face surely must not have true and undying faith in the promise of salvation afterwards. If we're judged by the content of our hearts then surely our intentions and their consequences are witnessed by God as well.
