Shooting mechanics were solid, I enjoyed it at first but it quickly got way too grindy and repetitive

Hours upon hours in base building...and never finish the story. Only going far enough for more mats for my base

Alongside a few exceptions in the main game the Far Harbor DLC actually has a genuinely intriguing story

It's almost like Bethesda had a stroke and accidentally made something good

I kinda hope they polish the base building and implement it in ES6

I got thru Far Harbour and I kind of liked it.
Then there is other DLC:s go thru.

When the world is so open that you completely lose track of urgency where you're supposed to be and get constantly side-tracked you just kinnda lose interest.

Well the urgency isnt really there

Its "urgent" but not really since lack of timeframe to do it...and no consequences for waiting

That became worse with the dlc...because you could go do it without much of the primary campaign done.

@thatguykyle Metro has a great story, but begin linear game, it has not content to play hundrets and hundreds of hours for adventuring place to place.

Metro and Fallout are entirely different game genres cant really compare the two

both about post apocylapse

but one is more sevier and heart renching while the other is a turn based adventure game

one is about survival and the other is about adventure
