To prevent political instability
Censorship (out of context is dangerous).
Good context is here, this is a private server so the people chosen to be in charge can do what they want. But in public, wanton censorship spreads a terrible message
"we will silence anyone that we don't like"
Obviously we need to restrict religion to suppress the degeneracy of Islam
And to a lesser extent atheism
🤷🏻
Look at the prohibition, sir
I'll give you a hint... banning something can make it grow.
Maybe prohibition wasn't feasible in the 1920s
It is nowadays
Considering advancements of technology
😂
How does that change anything?
What world do you live in that Islam is more of a problem than atheism when it comes to degeneracy?
😂
This one
Atheism is degenerate, yes, because it denies christianity. But islam denies christianity as well as having a degenerate dogma attatched to it
?
They both have dogmas, sir
Well, if you wanted to i guess you could say "there is no god" is a dogma and you'd technically be correct
But Islam's dogma is far more detailed
Many Atheist's are religious
That's
Not how it works at all
You obviously do not know what religion is then
"The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods."
From the oxford english dictionarh
More than that. Religion as in religiousness, not the belief system itself.
Religiousness is following rituals, believing stuff out of necessity, evangalising, etc.
You can see that behaviour in any extreme, including atheists. Pay attention, ignore your biases
Atheism isnt degeneracy because it denies Christianity specifically, it's degeneracy in its implicit rejection of authority and tradition, and explicit rejection of anything beyond the material
Something that Islam does not do
"Following rituals, believing stuff out of necessity, evangalising, etc"
That's what we call a philosophy, or perhaps ideology.
Atheism doesn't deny authority at all. The only belief required for atheism is "i do not believe in god." Stalin was an atheist and i don't think he reject authority
"Atheism doesn't deny authority at all. The only belief required for atheism is "i do not believe in god."" Is a contradiction.
A God is an authority. Denying the existence of a God makes you (humanity) the authority.
It makes those who are in power the authority
No, it makes everyone an authority. You feel less inclined to follow you conscience when you can think "nobody saw me do it" for everything. Morality becomes essentially meaningless
But there are lots of atheists who believe in an objective morality, who would completely reject the "nobody saw me do it" excuse
Then their atheism comes into question. They have no reason aside from the rules and laws of society... And self-preservation
Their atheism doesn't come into question at all. The only belief required for atheism is "i do not believe in a god" and to say that they have "no reason aside from rules and laws of society and self preservation" is absurd. It also does not mean they don't believe in objective morality. There are lots of atheists who believe in objective morality who are against many rules of society, and there are also many atheists who believe in objective morality who believe that self preservation is less important than lets say, preservation of others.
Honestly we should just send everyone who openly follows any religion other than christianity to re-education camps
And atheists and agnostics too
Uh
