see, some white people really don't appreciate their actual heritage, so they try to fake being exotic by choosing some vague, distant ancestry to some other ethnic group, particularly indians, and try to make themselves look special that way

due to the Cherokee's long history of inter-mixing with whites, it's easy for some lily-white idiot to say "oh, I'm 1/32nd Cherokee, I'm more special than the rest of you."

and you're looking at them like, "You dumb fuck, you're as European as the rest of us, shut the F up."

now if you really *do* have native American relatives you can boast about, as well as historical evidence and a carefully researched family tree, yeah, it's okay to brag
