Could say that about literally anything
truth especially that statement about taking your ex back
@hcaez 🗿
Is slavery really that bad?
Logically speaking, America worked really well when slaves existed
Work was getting done
Only difference now is slaves get paid.
And they still complain
Ok I made a mistake, I confused racism with slavery
I'm an idiot
I just changed the word racism to slavery
Lmao ranch goes on everything
You can be racist so long as you don't commit acts of rape or assault. You can believe anything you want.
Or prevent someone for working because of race
That’s unconstitutional
And to counter that, America didn’t work really well when slaves existed
I hope I don’t have to elaborate on that
Elaborate anyway 🤩
Lol okay since you’re begging 😉
You don’t have to if you don’t want to
"Is slavery really that bad?" That's a joke right?
1. The United States was in a state of turmoil before the civil war occurred because there was so much conflict of voting rights when it came to slaves. This is backed up by a lot of the complaints and compromises throughout history *ahem* the 3/5th compromise and the mason Dixon line and what have you. Simply put technology in the north was advancing and while the north didn’t really need the slaves, the south depended on it. Granted now we have the technology that produces more food than slaves ever had but of course the slave owners wasn’t expecting that. These conflicting sides had a long history throughout early America even way before the civil war was in question.
2. Indentured servitude was actually seen as a more progressive and effective substitute of slavery and both the south and north agreed on that at the time. This eventually became flat out slavery of course and then moved to sharecropping which was another form of indentured servitude so “slavery” can technically become a broad term that needs specifics.
3. After the American revolution, a string of revolutions occurred in not only France but also Haiti and Mexico as well. It was only a matter of time that the black slaves in America revolted against the south and the north possibly helping them, which would’ve caused more issues.
@s t a i n e d g l a s s I got bored after a while lol
I could go on tho
Ok yeah
I'm an idiot tbh
Thank you Gonzalez
We still love you
No homo
I am a guy, no homo
I feel like slavery did kind of work for Haiti tho
At one point they had an important part of delivering tea to britian
That was until they murdered all the white people
It worked until the slaves realized that they could rebel with little difficulty and they did and took over the island
Slavery is hard to do.
Granted having a servant is different but even then, a servant got well treated in comparison
Ok your right
