If they give up, Trump will win, they don't care about government workers not getting paid, Pelosi even wanted to fly to Afghanistan and other countries for a week while the shutdown is happening, and Trump rejected her flight and said she needed to be here during the shutdown.

They are only rejecting a wall because of their dislike of Trump, although they wanted one previously, stated by Hillary Clinton, Schumer, Biden, Obama and Bill Clinton.
