I can't. I can't to someone this fucking dumb.

2019-12-31 07:23:37 UTC

like you did last time

2019-12-31 07:23:54 UTC

and then bring out the personal attacks

2019-12-31 07:24:00 UTC

Solar cars what if it gets dark? lol

2019-12-31 07:24:19 UTC

Boo who snowflake. your feelings got hurt.

2019-12-31 07:24:34 UTC

my feelings are irrelevant

2019-12-31 07:24:42 UTC

I'm pointing out your behavior

2019-12-31 07:25:17 UTC

sorry, but you have zero control of how I feel and it's sad that you're this close-minded

2019-12-31 07:25:38 UTC

and defensive when someone pokes holes in your point

2019-12-31 07:28:10 UTC

You're right the ice is melt raising sea level, the air we breath is dirty and not clean, The earth is warming, but it was never caused by humans.

2019-12-31 07:28:23 UTC

that's beside the point

2019-12-31 07:28:56 UTC

and now you're trying to change the subject again

2019-12-31 07:40:55 UTC

@EternalDarkWolf completely dodging the battery question

2019-12-31 07:41:04 UTC

really makes ya think

2019-12-31 07:41:46 UTC

are you interested in exchanging opinions or just being right?

2019-12-31 07:43:51 UTC

But how long would the battery last in certain situations?

2019-12-31 07:46:32 UTC

@Buduo currently, not that long

2019-12-31 07:47:24 UTC

the timeframe differs between the different climates and humidity factors

2019-12-31 07:49:38 UTC

Even though gas might be an old way but might be best for now. plus a solar vehicle in shaded area might become useless.

2019-12-31 07:52:41 UTC

a solar panel does not make nearly enough power for a car

2019-12-31 07:52:57 UTC

its a silly idea

2019-12-31 07:59:08 UTC

Nuclear energy is our only feasible option, specifically Gen IV reactors and LFTRs.

2019-12-31 07:59:48 UTC

Gen IV reactors can consume and utilize existing waste of unspent fuel

2019-12-31 08:00:32 UTC

LFTRs utilizes Thorium, which has a half-life of 17 years and then can be reused after 300 years.

@EternalDarkWolf the earth heating has nothing to do with anything other than the natural cycle of the sun. Dissipating Ozone is only speeding the process.

@Shattered as long as a 12-volt car battery is charged, all has all it needs to be able to start and continue running until it shuts off. That is what the alternator does. The battery only needs to be charged once, and I’m fairly certain a solar panel can do that.

Once the full transition to solar power, water dam power and wind power farms is made, the odds are that they’ll produce enough power to fully supply cities, never mind rural areas.

In fact, the only thing that solar and wind farms need is more space than the average power plant. Other than that, there aren’t that many drawbacks. In fact, I see jobs in solar farm maintenance; they all need scraping after every snow storm, you can’t just leave the yard to become a jungle, and if one of the blades flies off the wind farm and damages a solar panel, whose going to replace it.
