@Syenite When a beekeeper forgot to put the frames back in the hive, the bees built this themselves. It takes into account airflow and temp regulation. Remarkable bees. 🐝
Saw this on facebook, have you tried this?
@Cortah what a spicy weekend for gold ay
@The Librarian no, I am actually quite impressed the beekeeper was able to lift the lid without all the comb falling off. It is very delicate and falls off easily. There is a hive type called the top bar hive where bees build their own comb but it's not so great for overwintering up north. Buuut I have seen similar comb building when I went to capture a swarm. You can see the white wax comb the built on the top of the lid. It all broke off when the worker tried lifting the lid and discovered bees.
oh wow
My solo mushroom trip went well
I found a uh... pretty stick
*Get a load of this stick that's been eaten a lot on*
I kept it
^^^ this is the spot I took the photo above it from below
That moss was over an inch thick. So soft
*I just like how manzanita looks*
And their flowers
holy hell take me tripping with you
I'm a busy tripper
yeah I'm gonna stare at a tree for at least 45 minutes
lol I do that sometimes
just depends on what the tree has to say
In pretty much the same place last year I stared at an ant infested stump for at least 20 minutes
hahah
brilliant
