We have marshlands
Except for like tundra and tropical rainforest
In some places. Valleys too. But a lot of flat prairie
We do have temperate rainforests though
No trees really
oof
Trees are a sad thing here lol
Most of the desert has some trees here
They were not native to here
Higher elevations you get ponderosa
In lower like, 4000 ft or so
Juniper trees
All trees have been brought in by settlers
That's the desert side
Valley/Coast is entirely different
That's neat. We are just. Flat
We have a few main ranges
Coastal range, Cascade range, those 2 are close together, the valley in between
I guess if you go north there's trees
Then on the other side it's more scattered but still a lot of ranges.
Mountains give me claustrophobia
I love it here tbh, people shit on my state all the time but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else
I like to visit. But no live
We have both wide open areas and nestled areas
If I can't see for days it doesn't feel right
I love the high desert since it's pretty open, also most of it isn't private lands or anything
Mostly public lands, so you can basically go/do whatever the fuck you want in it
Ooh that's cool. Here most of the land is cultivated
oof
Or pasture
The valley is highly cultivated
But the vast majority of the population lives along the i5 corridor
Up north I guess it's not. I forget we are mostly concentrated in the south of the province. And the province is big
Or.. Tall I guess
Once you get up away from the Eugene-Portland stretch of interstate then it's pretty gud
oof
The further north you get the colder it gets so less people. I do like it up there.
