I'm not so lucky... getting out for me is hard now, i can't just go out to bars and stuff or out shopping without major planning and assistance. I gave in and bought a mobility scooter recently to try to get some independence but I haven't used it...I feel stupid! I'm not an old granny I'd look like such an idiot

No, if you brought a mobility scooter, and you need to use it yourself, don't feel like you have to prove to others that you need to use it

I personally know the feel of not being able to go out whenever I want thanks to my society

I prefer public transport, requires no concentration, I can listen to music, read or just daydream and someone else drives
