Personal experience

Well most of my family are a line of doctors, at first I thought this was from well, people wanting to be doctors, but really it’s actually a trend that is expected from ascendant to descendant.

.-. I want to get into a scientific job, but not become a doctor, so there’s *some* issue there for me and my parents.

I once told my dad I wanted to be a psychologist (my career options are fluid), he pretty much threatened me on the spot -v-

My parents are the only people in gulf, and we got migration in our blood. So the rest of my fam is in America, including my grandparents. And lemme tell you, there is such a fundamental difference between my fam and my immediate cousins and relatives
