You cannot hold an OBT, no.

They'd bite you.

You can however, hold a lot of our gentler tarantulas

We actually let people handle them quite often

Momma tells me to not even get tarantulas

because they can spray hairs

that do something I forget. They get in your eyes n stuff

And they are QUITE itchy.

Old worlds bite. A lot.

They often do something called a double tap

FIrst bite, lots of venom, second bite is more.

Unless it's a prey item in which case they bite once, and hold on.
