thanks guys. I recently met this girl. We've been dating for a month...it's like an online thing (yes she's real...talked to her on the phone, etc. haha) we have similar issues. So I'm trying to turn my life around to eventually get to her.

yeah it wasn't a hateful argument or anything. We just had a disagreement. Then we started talking and found out we had a lot in common.

Most twitter arguments are debates, but the disagreements are really just a lead for conversation.

yeah, I realized twitter is one of the worst places to have a debate, which is why it always seems to get hostile. Because the website wasn't designed for debates, it was designed to update your life, but something changed and everyone started arguing with each other.

The character limit really hinders healthy discourse, and causes it to become a battle for the last word.
