NS and PEI
hell yeah
Ehhh PEI is just okay.
PEI best oysters in NA
If you're doing to PEI go at the tail end of the season
for whatever reason, Anne of Green Gables is REALLY popular in asia
hehe
so during tourist season the place is SWIMMING with asian tourists.
not that it's a bad thing, but It's makes actually enjoying the place pretty difficult
and fall on the island is actually really nice
bonus if you get to Cape Breton in the fall as well.
also, I heard KOD is getting back to its quality standard, is this true?
I have a friend that used to live on the Island. She's been there and says it is absolutely fantastic.
HAHHA no.
KOD is garbage.
I heard it was good in the early 2000s
It's only popular because of trailer park boys. You can get better donairs elsewhere.
also
donair egg rolls.
tell me the best spots
please
Randys Pizza or Tonys Famous Donair
both a few blocks from eachother, but it's great.
There is a popular place downtown called Johnny K's Authentic Donair but don't fall for it. It's just located well for tourists but it's not great.
any good local eateries?
^
If you drink - Battery Beer Bar (in dartmouth) has the best selection of local craft beers and the most amazing burgers and "spicy fries"
saved
saved
and saved
any more?
Breakfast - Ardmore Tea Room (dirty spoon, but delicious)
Lunch - Edna (great food and lots of vegan/veg option too - everything procured from local)
Dinner - Henry House (a lot of british food and a great little pub in the basement)
Cafes - The glitter bean (worker owned co-op, LGBTQ friendly and a great spot)
also, ardmore is pretty historic, it's been around forever.
pizza - Salvatores (also 1 block from my house)
bakery - Juliens Patisserie (right next to salvatoes)
so youre a short jump away from good food
whats the full name of Edna?
cant find it
