Same with furniture
the question is: whats more important? hating china or buying cheap shit? can you afford to be principled?
We have a place called Snt Vinnies here
WAY better than goodwill
Is America taking steps to stop China from backwards-engineering American products and selling the ripoffs for considerably cheaper?
most people can't afford to be
I've gotten a few nearly 100$ pieces of clothing for like 5$
:(
americans benefit from chinese products
@Farunel FUCK YES THRIFT SHOPPING
they're not gonna stop them lol
@Syenite what's with the garlic thing? Mine always seems to come from France or Italy not China
@Scythe America actually has lower standards than China for the products you can sell. So often China makes much lower quality goods for export
hell, every business here outsources to china
Goodwill is a ripoff tbh
When I was working there
not even a charity either
Uh huh
But we were just guessing
@Sassy Peach look up garlic prison scandal in China
And you had people watching you too
So if you underpriced anything theyd have you reprice
14 carriers can get 196 people infected. 196 can get 2,744 infected. 2,744 can get 38,416 infected. after the chinese new years it's going to be in the Millions.
🤔
Our prices were almost identical to like
Ross
Buy it for 9$, sell it for 20$
Wow that's shitty sorry
what does the western world even do against china?
and how the fuck would the german population establish a more freedom-based culture like the US?
@Syenite okay. Maybe after us Brits leave the EU our garlic will mostly come from China lol
*Basically I'm just saying in a roundabout fashion to not choose Goodwill over other thrift shops*
Cause they suck
most of our "freedom based culture" is an illusion, honestly
UK will still trade with europe @Sassy Peach
@Shattered nothing because capitalism wants cheap products with cheaper labor
we stomp all over our rights with new laws constantly
You shouldn't buy used clothes for the same price as new, unless they are expensive or in unused condition
