I just read a quote today

Anyways everything sounds so much better for me in my head

Then it comes out, and it looks so ugly and scattered on paper

Same for poetry

The idea sounds so nice and feels so inspired when you write it

Then you read it again, and it is just so, idk

So underwhelming than what you felt about it

Its always a bit different in your mind, got that issue with drawing but I just dont feel bothered. Have you been writing poetry for a long time?

Not really

It's only be probably 4 years

It's just to vent though

I don't write it professionally

I did try writing a novel though

It turned out like a real bad crossover of Harry Potter and scifi

Again, I'm good at making ideas

Not putting them on paper

For example, the other day I tried making a short story about a version of sleeping beauty set in a planet with metal based humanoid life forms

With crystals beaming energies set as the fairies

And the onyx as the maleficent

It sounds so fucking amazing as an idea

Then I tried expanding on it, and it was straight up plagarism

And I was too fucking giggly to finish it

I'd love to be a published fiction author one day.

But humans and all life forms on earth are carbon based
