Anyone watch the 90's science-fiction show, Sliders? In one episode, America built one city spanning the entire western coast of America, and doing so had depleted America's resources. A McDonald's Happy Meal was like, $99. I thought it was an interesting episode.
na
i used to watch red dward on PBS as a kid for some reason
dwarf*
99 FOR HAPPY MEAL? THAT MAD EXPENSIVE
wack
i used to manage a mcdonads
h8 that place
oof
ooo
thats tru
i was a beast at dipping those cones
and heard that america always has a broken ice cream machine
And also, not far off. I've been ordering the *exact* same meal from McDonald's for 20 years: 10 piece McNugget meal with large fries and medium drink. It used to cost about $9.50. Tried ordering it a few days ago... $14. Like, fuck.
jfc
their chicken strips from around 2008 were hella good
....tf are those prices
i usually just get a couple sausage mcmuffins if anything
That's almost a 50% inflation over the course of like, five years.
since breakfast all day now
yeah thats ridiculous
I'd actually prefer if they did lunch all day, if I'm being honest.
yeah
its the temperatures
you have to legit change the temp on every machine for lunch
A&W serves lunch from the time they open, and they probably have less resources than McDonald's.
yeh so does jack in the box
mcdonalds is just stubborn tbh
they held out all the way til the end to offer breakfast all day
