Just reminding yourself every day and stuff

2020-02-27 22:58:16 UTC

I get where you're coming from julia, and even as a 22 year old person, I still struggle in the same way you do about my own body image. It's tough. I try to work out because I, at the very least, want my body to be functional and stop aching and hurting so much, other than just wanting to look better.

2020-02-27 22:58:17 UTC

You gotta accept the chub life yo

2020-02-27 22:58:22 UTC

i felt like i was already accepting myself enough like i swing between not caring much abt it to starving myself for weeks

2020-02-27 22:58:24 UTC

Keep your body strong
Keep yourself healthy
You are enough

2020-02-27 22:58:43 UTC

Oof

2020-02-27 22:58:45 UTC

like a month ago i was feeling just fine and wearing whatever and now i eat like 500 calories a day and i count them closely

2020-02-27 22:58:57 UTC

Going through intense periods of stress leads to long periods of also not caring

2020-02-27 22:59:05 UTC

You need a balance to it

2020-02-27 22:59:13 UTC

I have an idea that I use, though I personally only get body issues from second hand sources aka mom

2020-02-27 22:59:28 UTC

I treat my stomach as my emotional support

2020-02-27 22:59:48 UTC

If your tum tum feels like it takes up space, hug it out

2020-02-27 23:00:04 UTC

You can't do that if you have a flat stomach

2020-02-27 23:00:31 UTC

But, if your tummy is there for you no matter what

2020-02-27 23:00:33 UTC

You will always have some kinds of rolls

2020-02-27 23:00:44 UTC

Your skin need the excess to an extent

2020-02-27 23:00:45 UTC

True, especially if you already were fat

2020-02-27 23:00:49 UTC

Cuz ya know otherwise

2020-02-27 23:00:53 UTC

Ur gonna just fuckin RIP

2020-02-27 23:00:59 UTC

You body will still look flab when you sit

2020-02-27 23:01:12 UTC

Thighs will still expand

2020-02-27 23:01:22 UTC

You're gonna freeze to death with no fat layer

2020-02-27 23:01:32 UTC

Its hard and stressful to not be comfortable in your own body

2020-02-27 23:01:38 UTC

It is

2020-02-27 23:01:38 UTC

Like you can never relax

2020-02-27 23:02:05 UTC

I personally had to literally look like a skeleton to realize I liked my body with a bit of chub anyway

2020-02-27 23:02:09 UTC

Always holding in some part of yourself never being able to be just Unconsciously comfortably sitting there

2020-02-27 23:02:22 UTC

Yep

2020-02-27 23:02:23 UTC

It takes a lot out of you mentally

2020-02-27 23:02:32 UTC

i feel like i eat so little because i struggle keeping *what* i eat in check but im better at keeping the amount in check

2020-02-27 23:02:35 UTC

i feel like the more i lose

2020-02-27 23:02:42 UTC

To be so self conscious and aware

2020-02-27 23:02:42 UTC

the more i strive to lose afterwards

2020-02-27 23:02:49 UTC

Do you have a lack of appetite

2020-02-27 23:02:51 UTC

like oh thats cool then i keep going

2020-02-27 23:02:53 UTC

not rly

2020-02-27 23:02:56 UTC

Worst part, for me, a small part still wants to go back to having a flat stomach despite me feeling like shit when I lost weight

2020-02-27 23:03:01 UTC

i drink a *lot* of water to satisfy it

2020-02-27 23:03:08 UTC

Uh huh

2020-02-27 23:03:12 UTC

Also thats a typical facet in Eating disorders
For a lot of people its about the control aspect as well

2020-02-27 23:03:26 UTC

Which would make sense considering the lack of control you have with your parents being
