Incorrect, the stem of the problem originates from before I was born and therefore cannot be a result of myself.
Anyway, the problem with the UN is that they’ve recently failed at enforcing international law, the biggest example that I’m aware of being in the 90s when Serbian and Arabic muslim forces in the middle of a conflict requested help from the UN. In one skirmish, the Serbians were rounding up Arabic men and boys and having them executed, thereby comitting genocide directly under the UN’s noses.
Now any competent international police or peacekeeping force would be compelled to exact punishment on the offending forces, the problem being that those in control at the time pussyfooted around the issue to the point where the Serbs got away with it. The conflict as a result continues to this day.
If you put someone in charge who would actually enforce the Geneva Convention, perhaps we could get something done in reference to accomplishing the actual goal of the United Nations. I don’t see any Boomers, Millennials *or* Gen X that fits that description.
Millennials wanting it gone is a bad idea that results from the aforementioned problem of it just sitting there doing dick all about countries in violation of the International Law, world super powers included.
