same here i was raised by grandparents my mother left her her husbond and when she had me my grandparents would not let her raise a kid out of wedlock and took me off her and my father

My grandmother took care of me when I needed it as a baby. I took care of her in her final years in return. Some of my best and worst years. Wouldn’t trade those 7 years for anything. ❤️

I just lost both of my parents last year. They took care of me, and I took care of them in the later years.

At the time I didn’t think I was prepared to care for her after she was recovering from cancer and had diabetes. They wanted to put her in a nursing home. She was afraid and I knew if she went she wouldn’t last long. Like I said. I got 7 more years with her. 🙂

yes they were good to me better than my parents were to me i never really had much with them they had three kids later after me and my grandparents never went to get them so that was their family i always believed that so not close to any of the three of my two brothers there and a sister

and my wifes father was alcoholic and she is angry all the time and we are merried 51 years this year and she still angry all the time

That’s why I want to help others realize they have way more strength in them than they ever thought possible. Rough roads but worth the journey.
