terrified something we say will be perceived as offensive
Dude anyform of social segregation is wrong
In this day an age
I think the opposite is the answer. Most kids don't have an equal exposure to the other gender, this happens mostly at school where the segregation begins. Boy play over here and girls over here, girls line up over here and boys there, these boys will work as a group and these girls will. I feel this is how the divide begins, and both genders have a language and culture shift, and thus problems communicating with another as the years pass.
Its hard to see exactly how forcibly separating half the population from the other makes anyone more free
women are OVERHEARING jokes betwen two men
and reporting them
you don't even have to interact with a woman to get screwed
Just being in the same room as them is a risk
You're not making a very compelling or coherant argument for such an extreme measure
you're making it out to be something harmful though
It is.
Who is the victim?
Society.
Society is not a person
unless you want to say
everyone would be a victim
Exactly that last part.
I feel extreme segregation would lead to further misunderstandings, each gender not exposed to the other would lead to greater uncertainty of the motives of the other half.
we have more gender integration now than we ever have in human history
Among what groups?
Segregation is an authoritarian measure
Gender relations worsening can be due to other reasons
Ok let me ask you guys
real talk
What are you guys proposing?
It's basically correlation
because men's rights activism has accomplished less than nothing
Real life culture does not move at the speed of the internet, oftentimes taking a generation or two for things to make a difference.
But the youngest generation is also the most feminist
Gen Z is ultra feminist
baby boomers, as bad as they are, are the least feminist
I'm not discounting the fact that there are fundamental differences between the genders in perception
Us older people chalk that up to dumb gen-z college kids out to change the world, before reality has had a chance to smack them across the face. They want their idealized version of what the world should be to be here, without all the knowledge experience will provide.
but the point is
each generation
has gotten more misandrist
than the last
Genz being feminist is ephemeral
Just look at how much more misandrist the culture is now compared to 10 years ago
