I think a lot of my sewing and carving skills are shared with this craft
I love it
You can get away with just a burnisher and few needles for simple things, right?
Burnisher and a edge groove.
Also you need a knife and some LW thread.
Also an overstitcher. That's it
I'd say about ten tools
Look up barrel stock and co. I won't discourage anyone from the craft even if it means producing competition sometimes.
Here another from the Bob Ross of leather.
If you are interested go for it.
@YoureWaifu My big pickup for the day was these veiners for detailwork and stamp bois.
Though I am taking the celtic one back to get a Valknut one instead
Ooh, looks cool!
I'm trying to figure out which hobby I'm more into
I've done some woodworking and liked it, but metallurgy and leatherwork look fun too
Wait, actual metallurgy or blacksmithing?
TBH Waifu, do them all
I plan to become a master in 1-2 crafts, and know enough of the rest to get me by. Anything I cannot do, import workers for.
So I stumbled on this dude recently and ofc, he's got a nice shed in the fucking woods to do his leatherwork
***I gotta escape the capital***
That sounds comfy
Look how fucking cozy that is
👀 **comfy**
It really looks cozy
That guy is great, between him and the Leatherworking Bob Ross
I should save up my money and buy my own land
I sorta just jumped into it
I am gonna source some canvas today, get one or two last tools before I break the bank
Yeah I'd say go for it tbh
Back home, land is 3-5k an acre
God bless, I miss that
1.5-2k an acre here
What?!
Do it then!
Get 10k worth haha
I will. Just need to be a Jew and save every penny
