I don't really agree with cops are always on duty but it has it's benefits

there's only one guy on my island who as a M107 and he's a local swat retired

but has no place to shoot it

They all have mandatory psych evals and 24/7 on call therapy

So my take is 10-20% of cops are bad, 40-50% are covering for them until they can get into private and discipline them there, and what's left will openly call them out

That’s pretty consistent with my opinion. Except the percentage of people that will call them out is slimmer

It definitely varies with the locale

And culture of the dept
