2020-02-11 02:36:57 UTC

i have a korean american friend from high school, and his dad started eating a diet of mexican food when he started losing his hair

2020-02-11 02:38:40 UTC

and his reasoning was that he rarely saw bald mexicans

2020-02-11 02:38:46 UTC

or mexicans with receding hairlines

2020-02-11 02:38:49 UTC

so it must be the food

2020-02-11 02:39:46 UTC

hurr durr you have korean friend you are race traitor

2020-02-11 02:39:52 UTC

<:TrumpPotatoe:639979524775477273>

2020-02-11 02:40:24 UTC

sadly I tried the same

2020-02-11 02:40:24 UTC

@Str3tch well, did he keep his hair?

2020-02-11 02:40:29 UTC

no

2020-02-11 02:40:29 UTC

Im bald

2020-02-11 02:40:44 UTC

and my friend lost his hair too, just like his dad, right after graduation

2020-02-11 02:40:58 UTC

the burrito solution was no solution at all

2020-02-11 02:41:02 UTC

though I think it definetly is the food

2020-02-11 02:41:03 UTC

asians have a lower rate of baldness so that's fking weird

2020-02-11 02:41:11 UTC

hasn't hair loss basically already been cured tho

2020-02-11 02:41:17 UTC

with DHT blockers

2020-02-11 02:41:20 UTC

more and more people are bald younger

2020-02-11 02:41:32 UTC

well

2020-02-11 02:41:43 UTC

it could also be genetic damage

2020-02-11 02:41:51 UTC

so not necessarily environmenal

2020-02-11 02:41:55 UTC

*environmental

2020-02-11 02:42:04 UTC

its like the myopia question

2020-02-11 02:42:27 UTC

is it the modern lifestyle or the fact that we have had low selection pressure for the past 200 years

2020-02-11 02:42:34 UTC

the chemicals in the food have to do something

2020-02-11 02:42:57 UTC

autoimmune disorder rates are also higher

2020-02-11 02:43:02 UTC

yep

2020-02-11 02:43:15 UTC

but like I said the question is

2020-02-11 02:43:30 UTC

how much of it is the radically different environment, and how much of it is the damaged genome

2020-02-11 02:43:41 UTC

peppers and onions
