yes, but we have something called a brain.
so?
we have feelings
and we feel altruism
You can use your mind to act in different ways even in ways that have fragility.
I know altruism is fragile.
So I need to use it tactically.
What don't people get about this?
define altruism
A state of being peaceful.
i don't think that's the definition of altruism
It is to me.
It's the only practical form I can find.
In reality.
Have you ever tested things?
that's a vague question
well.
Okay.
I tested this theory.
I only found 1 practical use for it.
Strive for peace but do not be a slave to it.
that's not altruism, either
It's not?
altruism is when you do something for someone else without getting anything back
Maybe you are being extremely rigid with this idea.
Practical altruism is more what i'm going for here.
you are talking about reciprocation
Well I would think it would be.
You do realize that if you give something to someone it benefits you too right?
From a social and spiritual angle.
There is a method to altruism but i'm talking about practical approaches not becoming a slave to it.
Maybe i'm just having trouble translating the idea or I need to use different verbage.
@HonorSword its called being a decent human being
I don't think humans are a one size fits all.
They gave us baseball caps that were adjustable.
They seemed one size fit all.
