look at this MONEY
you realize the wood industry is hurting right now, right?
not for me yet cuz i plant them
if less wood is being use by sawmills and P&P, then less trees need to be plantes
yeah but it doesn't work like that
cuz theres a lot of land that needs to get planted and they usually don't get the contracts done and theyre years behind
ah, okay. thanks for the clarification

And first photo is a black spruce
do you have to plant the orphan black spruce because his dad took off?
yes but dont worry the community is not destitute, there are white spruce as well.

Okay real talk. So the climate people are saying blah blah blah not enough trees, since you are doing stuff with trees what is your opinion?
Climate is changing but its not man made, conifer trees are retreating further north and deciduous trees are moving further north
But theyve been saying this for a while and its only very subtly
But they also are saying that there is like severe shortages from cutting down trees. But isnt it in tree cutters best interest to plant more trees and stuff?
they do, since they need the raw materials
but wood and P&P industry is using less trees since there's been a market slowdown over the past few years. at least in canada
Oh so we arent even losing as many trees as they make it sound anyway
No thats retarded
i can only speak for canada. but it makes sense that sawmills and P&P industry plant more trees. if there are no trees, they cease to function
the boreal forest is so massive it would take a mission of a millions of men to cut down the forest to make a noticeable difference and it would still take a millennia
not functioning is a poor business practice
And as far as fires are concerned what do you guys think? Is it mostly due to poor management?
probably
regular controlled burns to clear out the under brush reduce the risk of massive wild fires
And I take it the tree huggers dont like that
no because they have down's syndrome
Well in ontario wild fires arent so bad
it's mostly in hot-dry areas. like australia and commiefornia. though there were some bad ones in western canada a couple of years ago
ahem...BC
Yeah thats true I was in alberta during those bad wild fires
Its normal
it happens
