clean house imo
dc and marvel are a husk of their former selves
well a good chunk of them
I'd bring in a bunch of talent they've let go and some from Dark Horse
what are you nerds arguing about
I'd smack Greg Pak around until he got good again
Comics are dead
nobody cares
More dragon dildos are sold every year than comic books at this point
I want old school Greg Pak back, his Hercules run was so good
I'd rehire Tom King, Marvel were retarded letting him go to DC
sadly good writers are so much harder to find than good artists
To be fair I did buy some power ranger comics a couple years back and those were decent
the Lord Draknon stuff?
I hear they're pretty good
No the reboot thing
Although I heard that line was good as well
the Avatar TLA comics have been pretty good
the Korra ones, not so much
what's weird is the WWE comics, they have weird shipping in their books
Sasha and Dean Ambrose were dating in them
New marvel has weird shipping as well though...
it's weirder since they're real people who are both married to other people
i didnt understand the point of the legend of korra
in avatart there was a sense of urgency to the story, much was at stake
in korra there wasnt any of that
i got bored of it quick
Korra was a mixed bag, good first season, pretty bad second season, fantastic third season and bad 4th with some great Toph stuff
the show really depended more on its villains than Aang did
Last airbender was charming as fuck
Korra i felt like it was preaching. I liked it but i havent rewatched it as much as last airbender
I remember airbender more so
I also really kinda hated the ending????
the Korra comic picks up right after and it's basically all about her and Asami being dykes
and establishes that Kya is one too
there's some b plot but even the writer couldn't be assed with it
I think korras main problem was it was trying to hard?
a damn shame too because the Aang comics expand on the world building and tell cool stories
i would have liked to have seen them expand more on the characters in Korra
and answer a bunch of questions like wtf happened to Sokka?
It was being all deep and philosophical covering different political ideologies and trying to parallel it with korras development as the avatar and adulthood but it kinda made it all really unrelatable
