I've been so obsessed with learning blender and zbrush lately I haven't done much programming lately
I was planning on building online multiplayer stuff for a game
Why do they make new monitors too smart for their own good
fucking pieces of shit
trying to autodetect inputs and getting stuck in a loop
lol is your monitor being retarded?
have to unplug the power and plug it back in and manually select the input anyway
no, not my monitor
is it displayport?
DP yes
it's worse cause it was in a KVM
try unplugging the ds cord and plugging it back in
i had that prob once or twice
asked someone about it, "No it's not the KVM the monitors just do that sometimes"
I did that
I had to unplug the monitor
oh wait, im thinking i did have to unplug it too
and just wait 30s for the caps to drain
but i didnt have to wait for the caps to drain tho
anyway, this was a monitor for a rack hooked up to a KVM
> Why do they make new monitors too smart for their own good
Because Apple taught the world the best way to make money is to assume that "even one button is too much for people to handle."
and KVMs are always shit
ALWAYS
but it turns out it's just the monitors
iirc its a known bug of Dp
DP?
oops
lol
yes
would you guys recommend DP bugs aside?
well if youre going above 60fps then yea
depends on the bro
I've been thinking of getting a new second monitor and was looking at DP for it
I wouldn't want to DP with a bi guy
lol
if youve got a 144hz monitor, then you pretty much have to use DP
I'm not sure it's a DP bug
Seemed more like a monitor firmware bug
cause it did it on every input
i thought i saw something about it.
hmm so I might be better off using a DP for main monitor
