And Trump never campaigned on reducing legal immigration

2019-03-12 15:10:15 UTC

@RedPanda there appear to be 3 slots left, have a fav? post graphic

2019-03-12 15:10:17 UTC

If Trump starts supporting a lottery VISA, I'll consider that a 180

2019-03-12 15:10:47 UTC

:angerysponge:

2019-03-12 15:10:53 UTC

I hope Trump changes things for the better.

2019-03-12 15:29:14 UTC

trump = gpoat

2019-03-12 16:29:45 UTC

@WarOfTheFanboys He campaigned on not interfering in unnecessary foreign wars and ramping down activity in Syria.

Yes, Trump DEFINITELY wanted to reduce LEGAL immigration.

This is what the RAISE act would do. It would cut legal immigration by 50%, end the H-1B visa and end lottery and chain migration.

Trump was going to significantly reduce the legal immigration but cucked super hard. AGAIN.

2019-03-12 16:30:39 UTC

🖕

2019-03-12 16:31:02 UTC

he can't do it alone moron

2019-03-12 16:31:43 UTC

@desperado you make Trump supporters look like cult-following degenerates. Why are you so afraid to express any rational criticism?

2019-03-12 16:38:02 UTC

How are you guys okay with the fact that he campaigne on wanting to reduce legal immigration and then states in his SOTU address that he wants to accept more immigrants?

2019-03-12 16:39:07 UTC

I think it is even more sad that openly criticizing reasonable disappointments places me in the category of a "never trumper."

This is transparent projection.

2019-03-12 16:47:47 UTC

😂

2019-03-12 16:48:23 UTC

Trumps wants legal immigrants with skills

2019-03-12 16:48:55 UTC

not a bunch of worthless refugees to suck on our money

2019-03-12 16:50:49 UTC

people with skills immigrating here will not be on welfare and here to get free stuff

2019-03-12 16:55:15 UTC

@desperado do you understand what the RAISE act is?

2019-03-12 16:56:47 UTC

Second question: does the US need low-skilled workers from third world countries with a lower standard of living?

2019-03-12 17:02:02 UTC

no. it needs employers willing to hire and train Americans, and pay them standard wages.

2019-03-12 17:02:18 UTC

@BaRbArIaN im happy you say that.

2019-03-12 17:02:42 UTC

What about high skilled immigrants? Do we need them?

2019-03-12 17:03:37 UTC

too many Rinos take donations fron businesses that exploit aliens as a cheap workforce so want no questions asked.

2019-03-12 17:04:12 UTC

@BaRbArIaN based.

2019-03-12 17:04:45 UTC

High skilled maybe some, but if you advertise skilled jobs that pay skilled wages, they will have interest.

2019-03-12 17:05:05 UTC

In regards to High skilled workers; Google, a very leftist company, donates to conservative outlets to peddle the "we need high skilled workers in America" nonsense.

2019-03-12 17:05:41 UTC

Some labor markets are different than others.

2019-03-12 17:05:54 UTC

Google benefits from hiring IT workers on an H-1B visa from places like India.

They are the mexicans of the high skilled market.

2019-03-12 17:06:10 UTC

We dont need immigrants. High skilled or low.

2019-03-12 17:06:19 UTC

They used to train from within.

2019-03-12 17:06:41 UTC

We import so many foreigners to saturate the medical field. It is ridiculous. We can train our own Americans for the job.

2019-03-12 17:06:49 UTC

yes

2019-03-12 17:08:31 UTC

A college degree in the STEM field is a very risky investment. It is unfair to a college graduate that he needs to compete with a third worlder on a visa because corporate conservative shills that are paid by the Wilks and Koch brothers that 'America needs high skilled workers.'

It is a blatant lie and it hurts our American graduates.

2019-03-12 17:09:21 UTC

This can be explained ridiculously easily.

2019-03-12 17:09:42 UTC

Supply amd demand. It isn't even economics 101. It is grade school logic.

2019-03-12 17:10:32 UTC

indeed. I've known some H1 types, they toil for maybe 60% of what an American software guy does and are happy to get that.

2019-03-12 17:11:27 UTC

We understand that illegals that saturate the low skill labor market displaces American and reduces wages but for some reason, oversaturating the medical field and IT jobs with foreigners is good?? This makes zero sense.

2019-03-12 17:11:57 UTC

exactly dollars and cents maybe, not sense.

2019-03-12 17:12:26 UTC

@BaRbArIaN i tend not to incorporate anecdotal evidence but I also know an animator that had to compete with Indains that produce animation at a fraction of what any American is comfortable working with.
