Operation Neptune /\ Operation Overlord.
GOD BLESS THE GREATEST GENERATION !
At precisely 0445 Hrs GMT, the morning of Tuesday, June 6th 1944,
Members of the Combined Allied Task Force of Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, and the United States Militaries, led by the
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, U.S. ARMY, U.S. NAVY, and ROYAL MARINES Stormed the Beaches of Normandy, France, under Heavy Machine Gun and Anti Aircraft Fire, the "MEN" pushed forward, establishing a Beach Head at JUNO, SWORD, OMAHA, UTAH BEACH, and other locales'.
Despite heavy casualties on both sides, American and British Led Forces of the Allied Nations Successfully defeated Enemy German Positions, leading to the beginning of the end for German occupation.
"Operation Overlord" to this day is considered one of the greatest Seaborne Military Invasions conducted in the History of Human Civilization.
GOD BLESS THE MEN OF THE ALLIED ARMED FORCES, WHO SAVED THE WORLD FROM ABSOLUTE DOMINATION BY NAZI GERMANY..
WE, THE PATRIOTIC AMERICAN, BRITISH, CANADIAN, AUSTRALIAN, AND FRENCH CITIZENS "SHALL FOREVER HONOUR" THE MEMORY OF "ALL" WHO FOUGHT, WHO BLED IN THE SAND, AND WHO DIED IN THE SEA IN DEFENSE OF FREEDOM EVERYWHERE.
WE OWE A TREMENDOUS DEBT OF GRATITUDE TO EACH AND EVERY SOLDIER, SAILOR, MARINE, AND AIRMEN, WHO DID WHAT MUST BE DONE, TO WIN WHAT MUST BE WON.
WE HONOR AND SALUTE YOU, WE THANK YOU.
THE MEMORY AND HONOUR OF YOUR BRAVERY SHALL NOT PERISH FROM THIS EARTH.
