Another example of this occured on a minecraft server I once played on. In this server, you could buy iron ingots for 10 dollars apiece. Iron chestplates sold for 150 apiece. I exploited this until I had more money than I would ever need before telling the owner. He fixed it, but let me keep my ill gotten gains even after I told him I'd used the exploit.
