So there are two ways to play

scav runs where you spawnin as a randomly generated scav with gear in a random place on the map

and whatever you bring out of that

you keep on your main

if you do your PMC you spawn in with what you want and you can do tasks and quests from the traders

but you will lose whatever you die with in raid

you can insure it
