THe time I played it was definetly fun
Altho at times there were sume bugs and that weird ass ''you can only save when you have specific item''
But I think that got fixed by now as I played it really early after release
@Reichtangle Posed in the music dungeon already <:tamamodab2:485506018227257346>
oof
Edit: wrong place
probs
Is it possible to get a game bought years before steam or steam key registration, that is available now on steam, activated on steam for easier mod support etc?
And actually activated not the cheapo ''add non steam game to library''
like what
half life?
or any of the half life packs?
Stronghold Collection
As in Stronghold 1, Crusader, Crusader Extreme, 2 and Legends
I’m reading all the Halo books again after several years. starting at The Fall of Reach and working my way through. I should have tried to read in order chapter by chapter, reading the first part of Reach, followed by Contact Harvest, some more of Reach, The Cole Protocol, more of Reach etc. But I’m already done the first book.
Forgot how much I like Halo though
I hope it's the old published copies
The new copies retconed shit in light of the games
@Punished Ggnome the copy of Reach I read this time was the new one because I wanted to see how different it was. Luckily it’s just literally a few sentences. The canon between the books and the game Halo Reach are still very much separate though. They’d have to change a lot of shit to make it work
I have three different issues of Fall of Reach for some reason, including the earliest release. It’s in disrepair though
On to Contact Harvest now
Ah, I still have the OG book series
It's yellowed from age
I have Reach, The Flood and First Strike all in the same format with the Xbox graphic on their covers. Actually that might be my only copy of The Flood strangely. Liked its cover art
They were man
The Flood has a great cover
There’s a one or two I’ve apparently never read. I don’t think I read The Cole Protocol which I’m told is good. Plus everything after Glasslands. Lots of them have come out since Glasslands evidentially
It is good
Read any of the newer ones? I read part of the one that came after Glasslands, I think The Thursday War but something came up and I didn’t finish. I don’t know anything about any of the new ones
I read the forerunner ones they were good
Cole was good
I have an internet friend who is very into the Forerunner saga. Read the first one but there was enough of a gap between it and its sequels that I didn’t continue. Will have to
The Forerunner saga is a weird one
It's kinda hard to follow the later books because it basically throws a bunch of bullshit words at you and you have to try and figure out what the fuck it's talking about.
I read Ghosts Of Onyx years ago and loved it. Never bothered to get the sequel though but I heard later it sucked
I have a shitload of the OG Halo books, like, from when Halo 3 was new.
The new stuff kinda goes all over the place
You know what book series I really want to come back? Republic Commando.
I have an old second edition print of that book that's basically falling apart from how much I read it as a kid.
Karen Traviss says she was removed from writing Star Wars
She was a really fucking good writer tho
They didn’t like how many liberties she took with the lore
And after they fucked her around with 501st/Imperial Commando she doesn’t want to come back
