I know it's a joke (and a funny one), but Anthem is actually a really solid core game with some shitty decisions and lacking about 6 months of polish (playtest bugfixes).
If they fix the loot issue (shitty drop chances and even shittier chances of getting a drop that doesn't have useless/dead stats) it'll give the game another couple of months before people start getting bored.
And it's unironically what EA did to the Anthem team. EA reps forced a bunch of shit to be cut or altered, and then forced it out against the advice of the dev team
Like the giant walkers, the Striders, are fully modeled inside and out, and were supposed to be like mobile bases. Nope, noe they're just static models.
Yeah, Anthem is really good at encouraging exploration, and they definitely nailed the combo of a large map and a living map. They just need to ramp up freeplay spawns so that when you head to a Scar village it's FULL of Scars.
