@Nic386 Tamiya kits are generally good. The only issue is they do have some tooling that goes all the way back to the 1970's that you can get your hands on, but honestly that's rare

Academy are hit and miss for the same reason, some of their cheap kits are clones of old Tamiya tooling

90% of Tamiya kits will be 21st century updates to tooling though
