Also doesn't help that I currently have like $400 worth of stuff to build then eventually paint all of that and much more
Has anyone ever created a backstory as a excuse for why they haven't painted their shit yet?
I mean my home-brew chapter's color is a similar grey to plastic anyway
@YoureWaifu Penny Arcade did a similar gag. Tycho pulled a lore excuse out of his ass for why his SW Legion minis weren't painted, claiming they were from a world with intense fog and grey was their camo
I thought i stole that idea from somewhere
Felblades are kind of wank in 8th
The fact they have 8 lascannons is good
And they're t9
So stick him with gulliman and use him and a firebase and it'll be fine but
This week's progress
Very nice
Ten more to go after this
Including building two more from scratch
Because the CA discounts mean I can give some bullet catchers to my havocs/chosen
@Gunslinger does the 2nd marine from the left have a chainsword from the mini knights?
Nah that's just a regular chainsword and some old Servitor bits
Lies and each others' asses
Dude that’s just op as hell
How?
It's letting MEQs act like a LAV
Apparently that's OP
Not like Terminators can use vehicle grade weapons or anything, so a Storm Bolter would be basically nothing
Its a minor buff that gives a little more punch at longer ranges
Oh I’m autismo
It'll make SM a bit better in the defensive that's for sure.
And offensive skirmishing, just keep them at half range
>"Hey, the Marine players are whining again"
>"They are? What about now?"
>"Oh apparently its unfair that armies built around shooting and nothing else can out do them in a shooting match"
>"Ah, I can see why that would be a problem, here lets make them even better"
🤔
Marines really aren't that great
this is needed
With the new AP system l and cheep infantry meta among other things, marine only armies are on the back foot, something simple like this makes them much more playable
Nah, Marines are fine. Its that for the first time in nearly a decade that they are not blatantly overpowered, so they feel weak.
It's a minor buff to boltguns that alleviates the meta of scout/cultist MSU's to fill out Troops slots
They've not been overpowered for ages
In 6th and 7th it was only chapter master smashfucker strats that made them meta
Eldar and tau were really strong in 7th
