@Reichtangle Three things:
>1; they provide passive buffs to certain stats for all the dolls in the echelon. This is a big deal because they are percentile and so potentially broken AF if done right. However the buffs are randomly assigned at creation and cannot be changed.
>2; they provide a random-activation (usually once every 3 battles) buff that makes dolls better. This is also randomly assigned as above, but can be changed with calibration. Perks include a percentile damage increase, making Rifles shoot faster and crit more/better, making HG's skill activate quicker and for longer, etc.
>3; finally they also provide a skill that you can activate at a point of your choosing. This last part is not free and whilst it can be activated multiple times does have a cooldown (in battles fought I think). Activating the skill costs you Fairy Energy, or whatever it is, a specific resource that only faires use. You get more/store more by upgrading your Fairy room.
Why are they good? Bonus XP, a HP shield for your SMG's that has to be shot through first in order for them to be hurt, mine a node and damage all enemy dolls in the next echelon to enter it, bomb your enemy, add bonus dummy links to dolls in your echelon, etc. Its massive.
