2018-09-26 17:47:49 UTC

Friend and former dealer employee

2018-09-26 18:02:50 UTC

Oh

2018-09-26 18:03:20 UTC

Are the Voyagers good? They look ok just from the pictures from the website

2018-09-26 18:06:20 UTC

They’re alright guns

2018-09-26 18:06:38 UTC

They hold their value well, decent shooters

2018-09-26 18:06:46 UTC

I’ve owned two

2018-09-26 18:08:56 UTC

Why did you get rid of them?

2018-09-26 18:10:00 UTC

People offered more than I paid 😂

2018-09-26 18:10:13 UTC

Ah, always a fair sale

2018-09-26 18:10:18 UTC

Yes

2018-09-26 18:10:30 UTC

got my first battle rifle :^)

2018-09-26 18:35:58 UTC

What manufacturer?

2018-09-26 18:36:57 UTC

Looks like an older PTR

2018-09-26 18:37:39 UTC

@LazySama You’re gonna want to replace that handguard

2018-09-26 18:37:57 UTC

Heats up like a motherfucker

2018-09-26 18:38:05 UTC

That shit gets super hot about 70-100 rounds in

2018-09-26 18:38:44 UTC

Yeah im trying to look for a green wide handguard

2018-09-26 18:38:59 UTC

Mine has one of those too, fiberglass reinforced with a heat shield. I end up taking the thing off every 100 or so rounds to let the barrel and hand guard cool

2018-09-26 18:39:05 UTC

I got a spare black one

2018-09-26 18:40:03 UTC

Did it come with the bayonet lug or just the cap?

2018-09-26 18:40:12 UTC

just the cap

2018-09-26 18:40:22 UTC

Oof

2018-09-26 18:41:08 UTC

Wait, is the bayonet lug a flat bit sticking out of the cap with a slot In the side of it?

2018-09-26 18:41:15 UTC

I guess I could just paint a black handguard

2018-09-26 18:41:56 UTC

No

2018-09-26 18:42:02 UTC

That’s a CETME lug

2018-09-26 18:42:06 UTC

Ah

2018-09-26 18:42:11 UTC

HK is a push in design

2018-09-26 18:42:30 UTC

So what I described is the bayonet lug for a CETME?

2018-09-26 18:48:06 UTC

Yes

2018-09-26 18:49:04 UTC

HK

2018-09-26 18:52:28 UTC

Oh, huh so how does it latch in the tube exactly? Because the CETME one has 2 retaining plungers that have to be pushed in for removal

2018-09-26 18:54:08 UTC

Uses a screw

2018-09-26 18:54:30 UTC

With crush washer

2018-09-26 18:56:50 UTC

Oh ok

2018-09-26 18:56:56 UTC

So it just screws in
