I’m lucky I have some guys locally that do great work but by locally I mean I have to drive 35-40 minutes

Theres one local guy that's supposedly really fucking good.

But, he works on so much shit you'd not have your gun for the better part of a year, even for something minor lmao

The one 8 minutes from my house seems questionable and doesn’t know shit about AK’s so I just drive extra to guys I trust.

I honestly don’t trust myself yet to build my own. The guys I mentioned that are half an hour away are brilliant with AK’s, so they’re putting together a Bulgarian parts kit for me right now. Should be done Saturday (hopefully)
