I heard the same thing about the C308 but everyone makes fun of me for it

The newer C308s are ok rifles for the 5-600 you pay

The only other thing in that area is a PSA AR10, and AR10 mags are 3x the cost

Paddle release is the only right way to do it

If you’re a budget minded person looking for a 308, I support buying a C308

When I finish my kit I'm doing it all wood furniture and a paddle mag release
