Liz Cheney calls Nancy Pelosi an 'embarrassment' after speaker spotted at party following missile fire on US troops in Iraq
U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi an “embarrassment” Tuesday evening after Pelosi reportedly attended a Washington restaurant opening following Iran's missile fire against U.S. troops in Iraq.
“Speaker Pelosi is an embarrassment and unfit for office,” Cheney wrote as she retweetd a photo posted online purportedly showing the speaker at the restaurant in Washington's Navy Yard neighborhood.
“Closely monitoring the situation following bombings targeting U.S. troops in Iraq,” Pelosi had tweeted earlier, before she was photographed at Danny Meyer’s Maialino Mare restaurant. “We must ensure the safety of our servicemembers, including ending needless provocations from the Administration and demanding that Iran cease its violence. America & world cannot afford war.”
Washingtonian food editor Anna Spiegel, who took the photo of Pelosi at the restaurant opening, later tweeted that the speaker was at the event for only about 10 minutes.
Iran took credit for the missile launches, claiming they were in retaliation for the President Trump-ordered airstrike at Baghdad International Airport early Friday morning that killed top Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
A few hours after the Iranian attack in Iraq, Trump tweeted “All is well!," and said he planned to make a further statement Wednesday morning.
“Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq,” he tweeted. “Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”

While researching this video I found it interesting that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration as far back as 2011 was telling the US Congress that Qassem Soleimani needed to be assassinated and this was the same time that Donald Trump was posting his video telling the world that Barack Obama was going to start a war with Iran so he could get re-elected President in 2012. Of course Obama never started a war with Iran, nor did they assassinate Soleimani. I guess he was leaving both of these tasks up to Trump. So far Trump is one down and one to go.

A handful of leftist politicians in California recently introduced a new bill that they claim will “end blatant discrimination against LGBT young people regarding California’s sex offender registry.” But the devil is in the details, as the bill would actually protect adult sex offenders who prey upon and assault minors.
State Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) and Assemblywoman Susan Eggman (D-Stockton) reportedly co-introduced the legislation, dubbed Senate Bill 145, which would explicitly exempt sexual predators who are within 10 years of age of their minor victims from automatically having to register as sex offenders in the state’s official database.
As it currently stands in California, cases of illegal sexual intercourse between teenagers age 15 and over and others within 10 years of their age are treated on a case-by-case basis, and don’t necessarily require, in every case, that the older partners register as sex offenders. But the same isn’t true for other illegal sexual acts between adults and minors, including sexual relations between homosexuals and children as well as transgenders and children.
“This bill would authorize a person convicted of certain offenses involving minors to seek discretionary relief from the duty to register if the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor,” SB 145 states.
So, a 20-year-old homosexual can now get away with molesting a 10-year-old boy in California because prosecuting this adult offender would constitute “blatant discrimination against LGBT young people?”
Under the guise of trying to stop “blatant discrimination against LGBT young people,” the far-left politicians behind SB 145 are basically trying to legalize child rape by LGBTQ perverts, many of whom are obsessed with children and thus qualify as LGBTQPs – the P representing pedophilia.

A federal judge has temporarily shielded 70,000 independent truckers from an unusually restrictive and possibly unconstitutional California law that virtually outlaws independent contracting.
Layoffs blamed on the law, known as AB5, were announced in December 2019 at media outlets across the United States. AB5 makes it difficult for gig-economy companies to classify those who work for them as independent contractors instead of employees. The law was backed by labor organizations critical of hard-to-unionize gig-economy jobs such as ride-sharing companies Uber and Lyft.
