I got Octopath in June and I STILL haven't even made it halfway because I also bought Zelda and Civ 6.

octopath is amazing

I stopped playing Civ6 after some friends convinced me to try Paradox games

i heard 6 was a buggy nightmare but i still play 5

It's not bad at all last I played it

Some people don't like districting and that's fine

Civ 6 is excellent...but it has a heavy learning curve. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it.
