I stopped playing Civ6 after some friends convinced me to try Paradox games

i heard 6 was a buggy nightmare but i still play 5

It's not bad at all last I played it

Some people don't like districting and that's fine

Civ 6 is excellent...but it has a heavy learning curve. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

My friends don't play Civ6 against me because I do Space Australia every time

i always prefer playing with people if i have the option

We like being allies in Stellaris against a hard map, it's fun and no one gets salty at each other

ill keep that in mind if civ6 gets a sale

normally vs ai is too easy and we get bored

The AI in Civ is really, really bad

AI in Paradox games is much better

It has problems too but it doesn't have to resort to outright cheating nearly as badly

Paradox is a dev that does a bunch of games in a very similar style, real time grand strategy

Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis 4, Stellaris, Victoria 2

I dunno how people have the patience to play games like CK2 or Civ5

They have a new release coming out this year that's set in the time of the birth of the Roman Republic
