lard is far better than any cooking oil or grease in a store these days...

2019-03-14 03:38:42 UTC

and... and

2019-03-14 03:38:52 UTC

I have kept factory pig lard in my fridge for up to two months without it going bad. Maybe I have been lucky.

2019-03-14 03:38:53 UTC

tamales are supposed to be made with lard

2019-03-14 03:39:22 UTC

I save all the drippings from frying bacon.

2019-03-14 03:39:25 UTC

yeah my uncle was a butcher. he cooked with lard

2019-03-14 03:39:34 UTC

his food always came out really good

2019-03-14 03:40:06 UTC

the old breeds of hogs... heritage types they call m... had lard from heaven that never spoiled... some breeds were grown just for the lard

2019-03-14 03:40:48 UTC

these are the little things you miss out on when you live a packaged existence

2019-03-14 03:40:57 UTC

2019-03-14 03:41:09 UTC

I'm curious I just noticed Kommandant Andrew up in the right hand corner. Does he volunteer at summer camps?

2019-03-14 03:41:23 UTC

those old breeds could come up to weight on forage... didn't need to b fed... very popular w/the pioneers

2019-03-14 03:42:50 UTC

many got away tho.... where ur wild pigs of today come from... pigs were imported from europe

2019-03-14 03:43:22 UTC

2019-03-14 03:43:45 UTC

2019-03-14 03:44:00 UTC

yep

2019-03-14 03:44:19 UTC

no wonder they breed like nuts if you leave them unchecked

2019-03-14 03:44:52 UTC

same species as the wild european one

2019-03-14 03:45:02 UTC

Sus scrofa

2019-03-14 03:45:25 UTC

2019-03-14 03:45:50 UTC

the hogs carry diseases aswell and destroy everything in their path

2019-03-14 03:46:00 UTC

there was a bit of a scandal when a famous footballer Edinson Cavani made a video of him huntil wild boar on a helicopter

2019-03-14 03:46:24 UTC

2019-03-14 03:46:58 UTC

2019-03-14 03:50:34 UTC

I guess that's what happens when logging in sporadically

2019-03-14 03:53:11 UTC

Now if he would create a channel for hobbies, like carpentry etc.

2019-03-14 03:54:22 UTC

you can talk about carpentry here

2019-03-14 03:54:27 UTC

if anyone else wants to talk about it i guess

2019-03-14 03:54:37 UTC

I dunno if there's enough to talk about with hobbies that couldn't be obtained by being on a carpentry forum haha
