iirc those are called "firearms" or "guns" which are designed to use lethal force when subduing a target
one specific example of the "firearm" device would be so-called "assault rifle" with great rate of fire and accuracy in the right hands
in short if wielded properly this "assault rifle" device can be very efficient at killing people
but those brave warriors of our democracy and shared values would never descend to such levels
