So basically, shit is fucked. A dickhead governor of a state can order the national guard with full on military tech to enforce the federal law in a state against the citizens, and it would be legal.
We can have tanks, drones, missiles etc fired on our citizens. Perfectly legal.
So... The "National Guard" has literally no restrictions, although the other military branches does have restrictions. There is a caveat or loophole. Any member of any military branch can act as a member as the National Guard interchangeably.
For Example: A marine officer getting federal pay as a marine officer, can act and play as a role of national guard, legally and no restrictions.
