Why is it the people that are mocked as insane almost always seem to have some reasoning behind their actions. Like the anti vaxers, race realists etc. Why is it they are ridiculed but the underlying points never addressed?

When the artificial womb is available, will it lead to a fork road in the human species? Men will likely have sons to pass on legacy, Women I have no idea probably both. Also, what is to stop men/women from breeding potential mates also with unrelated genetics? <-- never mind legal shit, but a cool concept maybe. Men will definitely want all the best attributes and so would women, maybe its a nature vs nurture question that lead to an eventual genetic fork.

@metal_mango it could potentially, we don't know for certain until it becomes a reality. I know TFM has talked about it on occasion but again - no certainty. I see the iron womb as a potential for designer babies as well as men who don't want to be involved with women as a mean for securing their legacy.

@metal_mango Depends on how freely it will be available to the general public, and how regulated it will be in terms of genetics.

If it is freely available, and not heavily regulated - then I suppose a normal state of de-facto eugenics will arise.

Men and women will try to breed superior children in their own individual fashion. This would take many forms.

Some would want to create giga-chads. Some would create domesticated-cat-wives. Others I hope, would breed out the flaws of female nature.

And also the flaws of male nature.

@metal_mango, I dont think sexual reproduction will end. An artificial womb will be incredibly expensive and limited to the elites. If the artificial womb is something similar to cloning then the lack of genetic diversity in offspring could be harmful due to emergence of recessive genes. If the artificial womb allows genes from different people, then it would be best to observe what the elites do and take notes

I personally dont think there will be a huge demand for artificial wombs because most ppl will have no money since automation would have taken most jobs

Nah.... They will release Artificial wombs in large scales hence supply will be high..
. Initially demand will be low as society will think people buying them are creps and pervs but gradually they will increase therefore increase in demand .... Hence price will fall if a large section shows interests in buying ..... But what will happen to WHAMEN then ??

They will be bred out of existence and a new form will take their place.
