THe nsa is thinking of forcing the government to ban quantum computers. THat's progress i suppose. Does anyone else know about quantum computers? Maybe a good youtuber to check out besides anonymous official..

@Reaper oh okay. i'll try to look them up. Yeah the NSA's fear is it will be able to beat any and all known encryption methods within seconds or something like that. So they don't want the tech getting into any wrong hands.

@GingerSnaps I just think if we ate gonna be fair and rational as unlikely as it is for woman to act completely rational, it is just as unlikely that men that dedicate themselves to obtaining power and do so in such a calculated way would allow a tech so disruptive to their power to just be easily accessible by all

@Reaper i'm skeptical it will happen, americans aren't known for revolutions or overthrowing their government. THe french are. But i agree it is simply a narrative control and psychological hold and all it would take is enough people to say enough is enough. I don't know much about the situation over in france, why it came about, or the everyday french citizen. Maybe their not as obsessed with distractions as we are.

Oh i'm sorry to hear that. Yeah i always wanted to visit the continent. Was planning on moving to germany for hot minute but then i found out that it's a total police state shithole and changed my mind. I don't have as many freedoms as i'd like here but we're not a complete police state..yet. A lot of politicians and such are trying to change that though. Like in new jersey, the governor is pushing for the state police to be able to go door to door, search your home for banned magazines and confiscate them. And it's not drum mags they're talking about i'm sure.
